We are Yvon & Sabine Moréna. Since 2018 we have been living in this peaceful valley of gently rolling hills in southern Slovakia, where forest and stream meet and the rhythm of the seasons shapes everyday life. This is the way of life we love to share with our guests at our farm stay in the heart of nature.
Our farm dates back to around 1900, but old walls and foundations tell a much longer story. Centuries ago, a watermill turned here, and if you listen closely, the valley still whispers the stories of the farmers and millers who once lived here. It is a place where past and present meet in a natural and quiet landscape.
At Natural Slovakia we offer three unique nature stays, each with its own soul and character - a private hideaway where you can slow down, unwind, and enjoy the peace of the countryside. In the green heart of Slovakia, rolling hills, forests and quiet streams invite you to become one with nature. Walk along gently flowing brooks, listen to birdsong, and let the fresh mountain air and lush greenery carry you into a sense of deep wonder. In the evening, a campfire invites you to slow down. Above the valley, the starry sky unfolds, and sometimes fireflies dance through the twilight.

Nature House Ranná Rosa is a charming house with authentic details, nestled in a valley between the mountains. Begin your day bathed in the first light of the sun, listening to the birds, feeling the crisp mountain air, and letting the serenity of nature surround you.
Nature House Stará Láska provides a full and cozy stay by the animal meadow, with a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Begin your mornings with the gentle flow of the stream, the fresh mountain air, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Glamping Kukučka offers a fully equipped nature retreat, complete with a private shower, toilet, and kitchenette. Start your day with the fresh scent of the outdoors, the soft whisper of the leaves, and let the freedom of nature surround you.

On the farm you experience the feeling of being completely away from the world, while the inhabited world is still close by. Through a forest path, you can walk to the bakery in about 20 minutes for fresh bread. And the town of Veľký Krtíš, with all facilities – from restaurants to an organic outdoor swimming pool – is within five kilometers.
Our animals are part of everyday life on the farm: Sara, our Bernese Mountain Dog, four cats, chickens, three sheep, and a goat make the countryside lively and welcoming. We also grow our own herbs and make products from them, like seasonal herbal teas. In our farm shop, “Tea & Herbs”, you can find all our herbal products to enjoy during your stay or take home.
During walks and moments on the farm, you may encounter deer, foxes, and wild boar, while butterflies, birds, and wild herbs fill the landscape with color, scent, and sound. Take a 45-minute walk to Modrý Kameň Castle. Admire the breathtaking views, follow the historic Calvary trail, and then enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or a piece of cake in the charming castle square.
